History: WWII Resistance Groups

The White Rose Foundation was established in 1987 by former convicted members of the White Rose resistance group, their family members and friends. The Foundation wants to uphold the memory of the group’s resistance against the National Socialist dictatorship and to promote civic courage, individual responsibility and democratic consciousness. It also provides stimuli for tolerance and against anti-Semitism, racism and xenophobia.
